Introducing the “Stage 2” Kiel Colon Cancer BLUEKNOTS.
Our social media #BlueKnots goal for ‘18 is to see the #BlueKnots hashtag reach at least 4,000 uploads, which means we want even more involvement by everyone and more people wearing them for all 31 days of March. Ultimately, we want to garner more awareness about colon cancer, seeing that death rates have been increasing in young adults (20-54) since 2004 by 1% each year, partly because people don’t think about cancer, their overall health or seeing a doctor during this age. So we chose “HASHTAG” and “BLUEKNOTS” on the laces in “OFF-WHITE” fashion to make it as obvious as possible, to peak interest of the hashtag when one is wearing them and to ultimately start the dialogue of what #BlueKnots stand for.
