The Austin Spurs, presented by SWBC, will host us for a Kiel Colon Cancer Awareness Game, on Sunday, March 26 at 5 p.m. vs. the Oklahoma City Blue at the H-E-B Center at Cedar Park.
In honor of National Colon Cancer Awareness Month, Austin has partnered with the Kiel Colon Cancer Foundation for Sunday’s game. Fans are encouraged to wear dark blue, the color that represents Colon Cancer Awareness, and the team will wear our Blue Knots for the game to show support. Fans will have the opportunity to win the same Blue Knots that the team is wearing, along with Kick & Roll T-shirts, courtesy of the Kiel Colon Cancer Foundation.
“I aspire for the Kiel Colon Cancer Foundation to one day be the face of Colon Cancer Awareness, educating everyone about colon cancer’s characteristics through fun and creative initiatives and events,” said George Kiel, organization founder.
